My animation timings are off when I try to package for CD

I am using PPT 2003 and I have a presentation that I have packaged to CD. The
slide durations are spot on according to the timings I specified under
'Rehearse Timings'. However, the builds within the slides have changed to a
random pattern so that they come up at no specified time. I double checked
and when I run the presentation off my computer as it has been saved the
builds are perfect, it's just when I try to 'Package to CD' that they change.
Please help me, why are the individual builds within my slides changing?

CD drives are slower than HD's could be the reason why your timings are off.
