MVP needed

I posted earlier asking for help because I can't break my Excel link.
No one was able to answer and over the years I've always received
excellent help from the MVPs. I'm hoping someone can help me now.

Since you posted in a new thread, it's hard to know where to begin
without wasting time doing things that have been suggested already
(unless you mean that nobody even replied to your first post, in which
case you need to provide more information). What have you tried?

Have you tried Bill Manville's FindLink?

Have you tried going to Tools>Options>Edit and Unchecking "Ask to update
automatic links"?

You need that unchecked or the settings at Edit>Links will be the default.
