WXP SP2, In the past cpl wks, during which time I installed Acronis, True
Image Version 9,
there has appeared in WExplorer and My Computer, five "Removable Disk I to
M" entries.
I have 3 Raptor HDs, 2 Optical Drives, 1 60G Daewoo External USB Drive, HP
PSC USB Printer and a MS USB Mouse.
Under Properties\Hardware Tab my 4 HDs and Printer are listed as are three
entries like this:
SMSC 223 U HS-CF USB Device
and one: SMSC223 U HS-SD/MMC USB Device.

In the "Safely Remove Hardware" Menu in the System Tray, Properties\Drive
Details one is a MS Driver and one,
C:\W\System32\Drivers\snapman.sys, indicates Provider: Acronis.

Those I've talked to with different versions of True Image, don't have these
entries. I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with these Removable
Drive entries appearing with ANY OTHER software installations.

I'd like to delete them, but not only don't I know HOW to Delete them, is it
a safe thing to do, or should I just learn to live with these seemingly
useless entries.
My system is not set up in a Mirrored configuration.

Thx for any suggestions/advice some may care to advance.

I should add that these entries show up in Device Mgr under Disk Drives
and there's 9 entries: "Generic Volume" under Storage Volumes.
