Must enable "Wake Computer" at each reboot. Why?

My OS is XP SP2 and I have Defender 1.14.2120.1. I use "Wake the computer to
run this task" in the Windows Scheduler to perform late night Defender scans.
It works well. However, every time I reboot the computer I must go into
Scheduled Tasks and turn the Wake feature back on. This also frequently
occurs without rebooting. Is this normal? Can I correct this somehow?

I have been having the same problem. It's nuts! Must be a glitch in the
Scheduler or Defender. It's a pain to constantly check to see if the Wake
Computer switch is on and turn it on everytime it's off. Who schedules scans
for times the computer is not in standby or hybernate?!

It's curious a tech hasn't answered your question.
