I just updated to musicmatch jukebox 10 and now it will not open. It starts
to, showing the program name, picture thingie, then it disappears. i've tried
putting a cd in, because with the old version thhat would make it open.
nothing is working and i had alot of music neatly sorted on the program. how
can i get it to open?!?
You may are may not like this answer.
I had the same problem to the point that I junked Jukebox 10 and
deleted it from my system. Then I started having problems with the
Napster standalone client and then I could not get anything to work. I
believe the problem related to poor drivers for my Samsung yh-920 and
my constant efforts to dowload new versions of software, i.e.,
Napster, Musicmatch, WMP 10, etc. to fix the problem. No licensed
content would play at all after a fashion.
Napster technical support gave up and referred me to Microsoft, and,
finally, I exercised the "nuclear" option. I wiped my harddrive clean,
restored my harddrive from am image and started over. I then
reintalled all applications. Now Napster standalone, WMP 10 and
Musicmatch all work and function just fine.
This is without trying to use the yh-920 at all. I am waiting for the
Napster to go firmware upgrade and then will try again to get that
player working-- but only after the new firmware is released.
