Music and timesettings in Powerpoint

This is about PowerPoint XP. I´ve added music. When I add music for one
picture everything works okay. But when I want the music to play continously
over severel pictures - first picture does not change. I´ve to doubleclick
manually. Second, third etc picture change i order to my timesettings while
the mucis play continously. What to do?

Going through music and slide advance problems right now myself, I have come
to think that having to double click to start everything moving is just the
way PowerPoint works. More or less, waiting until you're ready before it
starts, and you signifying you are ready with a double-click.

I actually like it in my application because my first slide has lots to read
on it, but the rest are just photos. So I like that the viewer can take as
long as they like on the first slide but then the rest just go according to
the time I've set.
