Multiple Title Masters in one Presentation

Guest

Greetings,

My PowerPoint Presentation is somewhat large and I want to break up a little
by having two or three different title slides to split up the presentation.
Can I create multiple title slides and then select the title master I want to
use in a particular section of the presentation? Or shall I just modify the
one title master slide whenever I insert it inside of the presentation.

Thanks.

In PowerPoint 2002 and 2003 you can create mulitiple masters in your slide
master view. Insert a new title master there.

Thank you. I was able to create multiple master and then create a new title
master. Now I can't figure out how to switch between the two masters within
the presentation. How do I select which title master to use within a
presentation?

In 2002/2003, this option is available. But having multiple title slides is
not going to reduce the size of your presentation. If your concerned with
file size, then you need to have multiple presentations and link from one to
the other

In 2003:

When in normal mode, click on the Design button (usually in the upper right
hand part of your formatting toolbar). The Slide Design task pane will
appear. Under "used in this presentation" you will find the multiple masters
you've created.

The drop down menu on each icon allows to to apply the template as needed.
I believe you will want to "apply to selection."

Note that when you create your slide master you can right click on the thumb
nail on the left to "rename" that master. Now when you are in normal view,
the Design Templates on the right will have that name.

Hope this helps. Let me know.
