Multiple pop-up windows on 1 slide that display adr info

In a PowerPoint presentation, I have a map of the USA displaying our business
office locations. I would like to click on an office site (w/ mouse or
pointer) and have that office's address and phone number, and a photo of the
office, appear. On the second click or after a few seconds, I would like the
info box (window w/ the info and photo) to disappear. And then, be able to
click on another office location; repeating the process.

How do I do this in MS Office PowerPoint 2003? Thank you.

You want to look into using triggers. Triggers let you set up your animation
as you normally would and then trigger the animation via clicks on objects
on the slide. In this case, you would add the animation to make the photo
and information appear, then use the timing tab of the animation options to
change the appear(s) to be triggered by a click of the office site. To make
the objects disappear, you would set up the exit animations and then use the
timing tab of the animation options to change the exits to be triggered by a

Not that KathyJacob's site isn't great also, as are all the MVP's I send a
lot of people to their sites for advanced and beginner advice...Kathy's site
on triggers is http://www.onppt.com/ppt/article1056.html She also has
helped me (without really knowing) stumble my way thru One Note. And there
is always the PPT MVP site with links to all their wonderous sites...Hat's
off to the MVP's.
