multiple notifications or multiple copies.

I'm getting duplicate or multiple notifications when a incoming message
matches multple rules, even those only one of the rules has a notification.

For example 1, assume that an incoming message from person-x has subject-y.
It matches rule-1 to move the messages from person-x to folder-1; and it
matches rule-2 to notify me of messages with subject-y. I'll get a
notification that 2 messages with subject-y have arrived.

For example 2, assume that an incoming message from person-p has subject-q.
It matches rule-3 to notify me of messages with subject-q; and it matches
rule-4 to move the messages from person-p to folder-a. I'll get a
notification that 1 message with subject-y have arrived, but there will be 2
copies of the message in folder-a.

What am I doing wrong? Shouldn't I be able to have messages match multiple
rules and the action of each rule only occur once?

Be sure to include the "stop processing more rules" action.

But I want both rules to be processed. I want one notification and one copy
moved to the desired folder. For example,

1. message from person-x with subject-y (should move 1 copy and post 1 note
due to both rule-1 and rule-2).

2. message from person-x with subject-z (should move 1 copy and not post a
note ue to only rule-1).

3. message from person-z with subject-y (should not move and should post 1
note due to only rule-2).

Any more ideas?
