Multiple Monitors /w RDP

Ryan

Hello,

I have a question for the Multiple Monitor guru's out there. On my XP
Machine I have 2 video cards (w/ 2 monitors) and have extended my
desktop onto the 2nd monitor. Now, I have a 2nd Machine that has the
same setup.

What I want to do is be able to RDP from one machine into the other and
get the dual monitor setup (for a working remotely). So far no luck, I
seem to be limited to only 1 screen. Even if I take the RDP session out
of full screen mode and try to size it, I am limited to the dimensions
of my local resolution.

Is there a way to make an rdp session use the 2nd monitor?
With Win2000/2003 server you can have 2 RDP sessions, meanwhile XP
limits you to only one. Can you increase the number of rdp sessions your
are allowed on XP? SP2 RC1 (or RC2) did allow multiple sessions... so
technically it should be feasible. I would prefer to have one session
that spans both monitors though.

Thank you for your input.

Ryan
