Multiple Monitors Display

I am using a Dell Latitude Laptop with Windows XP Professional. I have the
mutiple monitors display set up witht he Mutiple Monitor setting as my main
display. My problem is that when I close my laptop and reopen it the display
size changes to dramatically smaller, and I have to change the settings back.
This happens every time I close my laptop and its getting really annoyting.
Can someone people help so the size does not change at all? Thank you!
