Multiple Insert Copied Cells routine

M

Matthew

Many times I find myself having to repeat the Insert Copied Cells routine,
but once you copy a set of rows, and choose the Insert Copied Cells from
Right Click Menu, it cannot be repeated.

The work around is to Right Click and select Copy, which is done immediately
after the Insert Copied Cells selection is performed, so that the Insert
Copied Cells option appears again. There are lots of redundancy in this
routine, especially when copying formatted rows throughout the spreadsheet.

While not an ideal solution, you may find this "usable". Select the
**number** of rows you will need to "Insert Copied Cells" into, right click
the selection and click Insert from the popup menu that appeared. This will
insert as many rows as you selected and automatically "push down" the
existing rows. Now go back and select the rows you want to use for the
"Insert Copied Cells" option and copy them. Next, highlight all the rows you
inserted, right click the selection and pick Paste from the popup menu. The
above steps will duplicate the functionality you are after.
