Multiple indents for multiple text levels

Hi,

I am trying to fix up a presentation that's a mess. The reason is the writer
put text and bulleted text in the same text box with only one set of indents.
So, either the text has a hanging indent, or the bullets are indented
with...brace yourself....manual spaces -aaagh.

My question is: How do I leave these in the same text box but indent them
differently? I have seen presentations with two sets of indent markers for
one text box. Right now, my strategy is to separate them out into different
text boxes but I know there must be an easier way.

Thanks, in advance, for your help!

In PPT 2007 you'll be able to do this ... indents are more like the Word model;
one set of indents per paragraph rather than per text box.

Currently, one set of indents applies to the entire text box. You may have seen
what LOOKS like multiple indents but is actually a set of the needed indents for
each type of text, all jumbled together. If you know what you're doing and why,
it's not so hard to make it work but it's a beast to explain to a newbie. <g>

What you may want to do is dupe the existing text box then delete half the text
from the original, the other half from the dupe and apply indents as required to
each.
