multiple icons on taskbar (not!)

I noticed in win xp that instead of creating a seperate icon in the task bar
for each instance of a program open (for example internet explorer, if 3
instances are open, there is only one icon on the taskbar until you right
clikc on it and then it shows you the three web pages that are open). Is
there any way to have it so for each instance of explorer that is open, or
any other program for that matter, that there is a icon on the taskbar for
each one open as opposed to one? I know that each time I clicked on the
internet explorer icon in win 98, a new icon popped up on the task bar with
my homepage, so if I clicked it four times, there would be four internet
explorer icons in the taskbar. Thanks for any help.

Right click on your Start button and choose Properties. Under the Taskbar
tab there is a checkbox called "Group similar taskbar buttons", uncheck it
and click okay and you should be good to go.

Right click on an empty area of the task bar, select properties
Un-check 'Group similar taskbar buttons'

Posted 'as is'. If there are any spelling and/or grammar mistakes, they
