Multiple icons in Notification Area

I have looked through other issues regarding the Notification area and I
didn't find this one...though maybe I didn't look far enough..

I use the taskbar as normal. At bottom of screen

I often find multiple MS Antispyware icons in the Notification Area (bottom
right of screen)...sometimes as many as 6 or 7 appear.

As I point at them (not click), they all disappear except the last one that
I assume should be there.

I work awhile, and they spontaneaously start appearing again.

Do you use TightVNC or RealVNC or any other VNC application to remote
control your computer?

No, no remote access software used. I don't think it's being done w/o my
knowledge either...I'm behind a router, have Win XP SP2 and Windows
Firewall turned on.

Well, you can ignore it, its just an unknown bug without any significance. I
am sure the MSAS Team is probably aware of it and will have it fixed by beta
2.

A lot of persons have encountered this problem, I am not sure but I think it
could possibly have something to so with your desktop resolution. either
96dpi or something, not sure, Bill Sanderson would be more suited to help
you there. Try that, changing your desktop resolution and see if it works.

Changing resolution didn't seem to affect it. I'm working on a laptop, and
I was working in 1600X1200 mode, and switched to 1024X768 mode...but that
didn't seem to make any difference.

Dave - is this a Tablet PC? This seems to affect most if not all Tablet
users.
