multiple clone monitors

Hello,

I'm looking to attach two monitors to my latitude d800 laptop. Both
monitors should be clones of the built-in laptop screen. Since my latitude
only has one vga port in the back (as does it's docking station), I'm unsure
of what hardware i will need to accomplish this, or which newsgroup might be
the most helpful.

Thanks!

this sounds promising. their specs say that cloning will work, but that
there is 'no offical support'. have you personally had success in cloning
with this hardware? specifically, cloning in the way i mentioned below?

thanks again!

Nope, I suggest you go look at a store display.

I'm interested;
My reading of the Matrox site for dualhead2go states that Dell Latitude D800
has been tested and is compatible. (perhaps thats not clone)
