Multiple checkbox validation

Hi,

how can I client-validate a list of checkboxes as at least one is required
using the requiredFieldValisator?

Is this possible without me writing any Client JavaScript code or Am I
missing something here.

this would require custom validator control (either one from scratch or
using CustomValidator) or 3rd party controls such as Peter Blum's
Professional Validation And More
