And one more:

What do the nameservers Tabs for EACH zone's properties (in DNS) need to look like?

Oops. I think you answered that question about the Nameservers tab. I
just missed it. I promise I'm not dumb - I'm a programmer.

I'm driving to Dallas at the end of the month. I'll have to stop in
WF.

I'll be expecting you to bring the beer!

Sorry it took so long to get back, after my close hit from lightning my
network speed to this PC went to almost nothing, turn out the problem was in
the RJ45 cable connectors I replaced them and boom I got my speed back.

On the internal zone you should only have your internal NS record. The
public zone should have the same NS records as your public record.

sorry to hear about all your problems. I still have a few problems and I'll
bring 2 cases of beer. I updated my server so now it has lan.publicname.com
as the domain name. However, I went to the "Manage Host Servers" in
networksolutions.com and I had 2 nameservers there, one was
ns1.publicname.com and the other was bpi-server1.publicname.com (which used
to be the computer name of the server). I tried changing the bpi-server1
name to ns1.swbell.net. Sometimes, it timed out. Sometimes, it came back
and said I can only add domain servers that I control, and other times, it
came back and said it applied and will take up to 72 hours for the rest of
the world to be updated. I figured that maybe it worked, but when I went
back to network solutions today, it still says bpi-server1.publicname.com as
the nameserver. Am I doing something wrong there or what? I'm confused
because when I go to "Edit DNS" for my domain name through networksolutions,
it shows ns1.publicname.com, ns1.swbell.net, and ns2.swbell.net. but the
Manage Host Servers thing shows differently. First, what's the difference
there, then what do I need to do there?
Thanks again!

Hey - another thing, I made screenshots of everything and emailed the link
to you. So I was hoping you could look at those and see if something is
wrong?

thanks
