MSWord Form Locked...unable to unlock

I created a form yesterday using option buttons, list
boxes, etc. While editing the form yesterday, I was able
to lock and unlock the document multiple times to test
the utilized fields. I also saved the document many
times throughout the editing process. (Perhaps I never
saved with the protection on???) Today, when I opened
the document to continue editing, I do not seem to be
able to disable the document protection. Most menu
options are dimmed, including Tools, Unprotect Document,
as is the "Design" and Padlock icon on the Control
Toolbox and Forms toolbars. How do I unlock or unprotect
this Form for further edit? Thanks

Please ignore this request as I found the solution at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;290949&Product=offxp . For those interested... you
have to exit the document, got to Tools, Macro, Security
and then change your security level from High (which
automatically blocks macros) to Medium. Close and restart
Word for the security change to take effect. The locking
padlock is then enabled on the Forms toolbar.

And note that ActiveX controls such as option buttons are really
incompatible with protected forms.

Keith,
I have MS Office 2003, tech support tells me that there
is a problem with locking. My program will suddenly lock
documents. They are not able to unlock them. They were
not able to unprotect. I had to reload the Office program
and lost a great deal.
