"The Task Scheduler Service cannot be run from command line...."

Is that true?

from the cmd line, use

net start "Task Scheduler"
^ : pause, continue, stop

There is the GUI interface of course.

In-built is AT.EXE for command-line usage, but it is limited.

Sorry to hear that. It works in Opera and I assume W2K's ftp.exe
