MSTask.exe Application Error

M

Maibx3

At Windows 2k start up the following error message
appears. "MSTask.exe - Applicaiton Error The instructions
at "0x77f8910e" referenced memory at "0x00000113". The
memory could not be "read"."
This began when I could no longer access the web via
Windows Internet Explore, where the following appears at
the bottom. "downloading from site res://c:\WINNT\system32
\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm"

Are they related & is there a simple fix?

Thank Your for your help.

MSTAK.exe is your scheduled task manager . Do you have
anything scheduled upon startup ? Can you open up your
Scheduled tasks program ..

Start===>programs===>accessories===>system tools
===>Scheduled tasks ..

*note maybe different on Windows 2000 Systems ..

My advice make sure you have the latest SP .

Thanks
Chris
