MSOE.DLL ERROR from latest MS Auto Update

ERROR MESSAGE: Outlook Express could not be started
because MSOE.DLL could not be loaded

Seems this problem from Win98 is back. I searched the
Knowledge base only to find remnants of old operating
systems using OE 5.5 or 6.0, nothing for W2K and OE 6.0
After allowing a MS Auto Update to install I now have to
versions of this DLL on my system and neither function
propperly.

Does any one have information how to fix this annoying
problem.

Im thinnking I got lucky, I attempted a re-install of IE
and OE and this worked.

Might be a fix for this problem as I have found 17 others
with the same problem.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer,
