MSN Search Toolbar & Shut Down Problem

A

Al Kaufmann

After I installed the MSN Search Toolbar suite I noticed that when shutting
down it gets very sluggish with some programs just not ending - sometimes
the shut down just hangs. After uninstalling things seem to be back to
normal.

I hope they get the bugs out, the indexing of my files did make searches
very fast.

Thanks for the quick response. I downloaded the UPHClean setup and
installed it. Then I re-installed the MSN Toolbar Suite. I tried a few
re-starts and everything shutdown the way I expected things to go.

I came back to this messages and clicked on the link below for the download
and guess what happened, my Internet Explorer 7 froze. The only way to shut
it down was to use the Task Manager. I rebooted and repeated things to make
sure I did not have some other problem with the same result. I uninstalled
the MSN Search Toolbar and when I restarted and tried it again, the downlaod
page came up.

I will probably uninstall UPHclean because I really don't need it. It
sounds like a good idea if you have bad programs running. I try to get rid
of these type of programs as quickly as they arrive, my uninstall is usually
followed by a restore just to make sure. :)

The MSN Search Toolbar programmers need to get the bugs out.
