MSN Messenger / Windows Messenger

I like the MSN messenger better than the Windows messenger ( Dont ask why, I
dont know, just personal preference ). When I have the MSN Messenger on my
pc, it keeps loggining in and out of each other. ( MSN vs. Windows ) It
displays a message about signing on from another computer source. Also, I
would have 2 icons in the task bar. I tried to delete, because I couldn't
find it in Add/Remove to uninstall. I managed to delete it but, I had to do a
system restore to fix all the other problems I created from doing that. (
Including deleting Internet Explorer. OOOOOPS! ) It is back to normal, but I
wanted to know if there is a way to delete/ configure this, the way I would
like it?

Sincerely Computer Illiterate,

Hi

MSN Messenger should appear in the add / remove control panel applet.
Windows Messenger doesn't. If this is the one you wish to remove please
reference my post to Susan M earlier today.

Thank you! I saw that, and wasn't quite sure if it was the same idea or not.
I will print it out, and try it. Wish me luck! ;-) Thank you kindly Mr. Hume!
