I went to log into my .Net Passport and I got this prompt
window to upgrade MSN Messenger or not. I chose "Yes" and
clicked OK. Now, I tried to start it and my Outpost
firewall said it has either changed or been upgraded and
wanted to be confirmed or it could have been a virus.
Well, I went ahead and confirmed that it was okay because
I didn't think MSN would create viruses especially MSN
Messenger as I use it everyday.
Then I clicked Start, and tried to access it from the
recently used list instead of going to the Programs menu
on XP, it said "incorrect parameters cannot be found."
Then when I removed it from the list and then opened it
(I don't know if this is normal), in the Main Messenger
Window, I see transparent in the background "My status."
The words are hard to make out because the "online" is
overtop of it. Any reasons why these problems have
occurred?
