Upgrade to MSN Messenger v7.5 then occur freeze on XP home Edition
Use Antispyware scan is OK & Fireware is close.

Upgrade to MSN Messenger v7.5.0306 still Continue Freeze on Cpu 50 %
then try XP default MSN Messenger 4.xx version is ok.

v4.xx is Windows Messenger, not the same app.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1

i have this problem too only my cpu usage goes all the way up to 100% and
stays there until i oen task manager and terminate msnmsgr.exe and
wmplayer.exe.
this issue was once solvedfor the day when i uninstalled and
reinstalledflash player but once i restarted the problem was back again
i have live messanger plus but the same problem occured in live
messanger,msn messanger 8 and windows messanger. the media player problem
occurs when i try play a video from the internet. had this problem since
january im pretty sure i have no spyware viruses etc i use 3 scanning tools
already.
