Hello.

I want to run msinfo32.exe, but nothing appears and no error arises.

Files in directory "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo"
are
iefiles5.inf
ieinfo5.ocx
msinfo32.exe
oinfo11.ocx
oinfop11.exe
oinfop11.mof
oinfos11.dll

Thanks.

actually, the msinfo32
is a system file under
the windows/system32
folder.

perhaps, your windows
path is off.

so do a "search" for the
file above.

Select Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services and right
click on Event Log and select Properties. The StartUp
type should be Automatic.Is it?

Hello.

I want to run msinfo32.exe, but nothing appears and no error arises.

Files in directory "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo"
are
    iefiles5.inf
    ieinfo5.ocx
    msinfo32.exe
    oinfo11.ocx
    oinfop11.exe
    oinfop11.mof
    oinfos11.dll

Thanks.

Somehow, I'll bet "nothing appears" = "empty white box appears"

Reregister the msinfo32.dll as follows:

Click, Start, Run and in the box enter the following - with the
quotes:

regsvr32 "C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries\msinfo.dll"

and press Enter. Wait for a success message.

Try msinfo32 in the Start, Run box or from your other menus now.

db - the executable is in both places on my system, but the DLLs are
where you indicated :)
