msi file extention

I am trying to run a program that requires a 'MSI FILE
EXTENTION'The program tells me that I need the
appropriate installer.
Could anybody please tell me where I can download this
from

Hi Alan,

It should already be on your system. Look for msiexec.exe in the
\windows\system32 folder.
