MSDN

I'm confused. I downloaded the VB.Net 2005 Express and all the help
functions are from on-line. I thought I got also the MSDN loaded so I didn't
have to use On-line to get help on the various topics and classes. Can
someone help me..I tried downloading the MSDN Express but when it tried to
install it said I was missing the .Net Framework 2.0 Beta...I have the .Net
Framework 2.0 final version on my machine but not the Beta version.

Any clarification and download sites for the MSDN would be appreciated.

Hi Dennis,

The default Help setting looks on the Internet first isntead of checking
locally first. Go to Tools, Options... and then expand the Help topic. The
Online section starts with a section labelled 'When loading Help content'
that will let you choose how you want to reference local versus online
content.

Take care,

Dean

I finally found the MSDN Library and installed it. However, when I go to
tools-options-help, there is no Online Section. I am using VS2005 Express.
