Using MS XP sp3 with all current updated.
Having lost my MSCONFIG file for some reason, I have tried loading my OEM
copy of windows XP sp2 to see if i can copy it from there but cannot find it
on the disc.
Can anyone tell me if I can ""restore"" the system back to a time when it
was there, copy the file, go back to the latest restore point and then copy
it into windows. I don't want to attempt it if it is going to cause any more
problems.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
