MSAS not detecting

The last several times I have run a full scan, it
finishes detecting 0 threats. I don't believe this
result, because my Symantec Antivirus just ran and
detected over 20 threats. The Symantec program is saying
it is leaving them all alone.

An AntiSpyware utility is different from an AntiVirus utility. What
Symantect Antivirus detected was virus threats.

20 out of the 22 threats were listed as either spyware or
adware in the Symantec scan. Here are a few examples.

- Adware.180Search
- Adware.SAHAgent
- Spyware.Goidr
- Adware.LinkMaker
- Adware.MemoryMeter

In previous MSAS scans, I'm almost positive this kind of
stuff has been identified and deleted.

Best recommendation then would be to restart in safe mode and do a deep
scan. On the Scan Page choose Scan Options > Full System Scan. Do this at
least two times until detects something. Also, before you restart in safe
mode, disable System Restore, some trojans and spyware programs are likely
to restore themselves with system snap shots:

Right click My Computer > Properties > System Restore, check the "Disable
System Restore" check box and restart in safe mode.

Remember, this is still beta and cannot be judged as a finished shipping
product. Continue to use additional thirdparty AntiSpyware utilities in
tandem with MSAS:

Maybe Norton is finding these in MSAS quarantine folder?
