MS07 PPT master

I have a templated master document that was brought over from an earlier
version of PPT. There are two images on the master, in the lower left and
righthand corners. I need to be able to delete or moved these images. When I
click on them, nothing happens

It sounds as if they were put on the background, as one image. In the master,
click the top, largest master, try right-clicking on an empty area (not on a
placeholder), and choose Format Background. You can then see if there's a
picture fill, because the Picture or Texture Fill option will be selected. If
so, choose Solid Fill and set the color to whatever you want, such as white.

Another possibility is that you're clicking on a placeholder which is on top
of the images. Click any placeholder, and press Tab to cycle through the
objects, to see if your images get selected. Then you can move them with the
Arrow keys or press Del.
