Hi,
Is there a step by step procedure for installing MS Virtual Server 2005 R2
and then installing Windows Vista Beta 2 on it as a Virtual Machine?

Thanks

Since this is a Windows XP Newsgroup, you should ask this in the Vista or
Server newsgroups.

Actually, it does not, you are attempting to install MS Virtual
Server, there is a newsgroup you can consult for that
"microsoft.public.virtualserver", once you get Virtual Server
installed, you can then head over to the Vista newsgroup and ask in
"microsoft.public.windows.vista.installation_setup" on how to
install Vista on Virtual Server, the Host OS WinXP is irrevalent, it
could just as easy be Win2k3 or Win2k Server or Linux for that
matter.

Thanks for the info. After noting all of the problems that Microsoft is
having with Vista, as noted on the Vista Newsgroup, I think Microsoft got
real problems with Vista. Therefore, I don't even want to try the Beta 2
version.
From the looks of it, Microsoft may have to delay their release date for
Vista again.

It reminds me of the Updates that Microsoft released that caused all the
problems with IE and Office programs.
