MS Outlook 2003
Prior to a major system crash last week, I had the following environment
set up:
The major item I use in Outlook is the Calendar. It is used for scheduling
and reminders. What I had is to set up in the "Start Menu", an entry that,
when the system is booted, it would start the Calendar and place an icon in
the systray.
After reloading my OS and MS Outlook, I seem to have that working again. I
placed the file in "Documents and Settings/<User Name>/Start
Menu/Programs/Startup". When the system boots, the Calendar is started and an
icon is in the systray.
My problem and scenerio is this: I want the Calendar running in the
background at all times. This way, I will get my Reminders at any time. I do
NOT need to "Start" the Calendar. Also, this gave me the ability to click on
the Outlook Systray icon at any tme and display the maximized Calendar on the
display. In other words, I did not need to "Start" outlook.
I guess another way I might reference this request (for us old-timers), I
would like The Calendar to run like a "TSR".
