hi ,
im using Windows XP and Windows MS OUTLOOK 2000 ver
9.0.0.2711 and i cannot seem to figure out why it
requires a password everytime i send or receive email

i already went through the fundamental steps to do that,
but its as it the password is kicked out every time after
i save it .... this is more annoying and time consuming
than anything .

would someone know if there is an academic method or do i
download a patch for this glitch ?

TQ

If you repost your query in some Outlook newsgroup then
they will tell you how to record the password permanently
in Outlook 2000. This has nothing to do with Windows XP
security.

The above also applies to Internet Explorer and other applications that use the Protected Storage System Provider registry key to store passwords.
