MS AntiSpyware Side Taskbar Problem

When you have your windows taskbar dragged to the side of your monitor
(Vertically), the antispyware taskbar popup just flies up and down your
monitor and never stops to permit you to click on anything. Any
suggestions?

This is a bug which happens with the taskbar on either side. Top and bottom
work fine, and those are the workarounds available, I'm afraid.
