MS Access file accidently assigned as MS Word

I am really struggling with VISTA in general (as an executive who has used XP
for years, VISTA is a truly inferior produce)... okay, that said... here is
my issue:

I did not have MS Access loaded on to this Vista PC and 'accidently'
associated Word to an Access dbase file.

I have since downloaded the Trial version of Access and I can not for the
life of me change the program association from Word to Access, now that I
have Access loaded onto this computer.

Please help! This dbase has ALL my holiday contact details.

DO you get "Open with" when you right click on the file? Use that to
change the default. If not, try using "Default Programs" in the Control
Panel...

Hank - Thank you so much. The open with function would work, however it
appears that the default program function in the Control Panel was what I
needed. I still can not open the file because it is from Access 2.0 and said
I need to learn about how to convert via Windows Online. I closed that
window too quickly and now every time I try to open the file it says my
license has expired. Is there anywhere on the web that will let me open this
file? In the end I just need to dump the contacts into excel and then I'll
have no need for the program anymore. Thank you so much for any further
direction you can offer!
