MPG playing problem...

After installing WMP10, I can't play some (only a very few) mpg files in
most players, except Power/Win DVD, VLC, QT that I have tried.

The details as per AVIcodec are usually like...

File:1.15 MB (113 KB),duration:0:00:29,type: MPG,1 audio
stream(s),quality:30 %

Video :116 B,0 Kbps,29.970 fps,352*240 (4:3),MPG1 = MPEG 1 (VCD),Supported

Audio :113 KB,32 Kbps,32000 Hz,1 channels,0x51 = Mpeg-1 audio Layer2
[0xc0],Supported

Can any multimedia expert please let me know why ??
