Moving USB card to different PCI slot

Hello............I recently removed an internal DSL modem I no longer needed
to free up a PCI slot. I have an installed USB 2.0 PCI card that I wanted to
move to a different slot. Will XP (HE) see this as a new card and want me
re-install drivers, or will it just see it for what it is.......the same card
in a different slot, and do nothing?
And..........if it is seen as 'new hardware', should I un-install it before
changing slots? Thanks very much.......

My experience is that once the system knows where to find the drivers for a
card it recognises, you can move the cards at will with only the briefest
indication from the system that anything has changed. Shut down, move card,
reboot. Done.
