moving the cursor makes window minimize

I don't know how this has happened, but now every time I move the cursor
out of a window, the window disappears. It makes it really hard to drag
and drop files. The window you're dragging from disappears, then you
get that one back (from the bar on the bottom) and while you're moving
the cursor to do that, the other window disappears into the task bar.
Frustrating. I know I've monkeyed around and changed some setting, but
dang me if I can find it again. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your mouse could have a stuck button. Try a different mouse
and let us know what happens.

There's no problem with the mouse. I tried a different one, and it does
the same thing. It is something I've done while changing (or
customizing) settings, I'm sure of it, but I cannot remember where to
go to change it back. It sure sounded like a good idea at the time, but
after using it about a month, there were more drawbacks to it than I
first thought. Hope someone smarter than me can figure it, I'm about to
give up ! Thanks, Eileen

I seem to remember a tweak somewhere that says (paraphrasing) "focus on
window when mouse moves over it"
I also tried it, but it was a bit annoying so I removed it.

All I have to do now is remember where it was. Try TweakUI. If you find it
there, disable it.
