Moving shapes within organizational charts

I have not had much luck with creating an organizational chart with
shapes (shape boxes) that are movable.

Can anyone help me with this?

On the Org Chart / Diagramming toolbar, turn off AutoLayout. Then you can
move stuff around.

I've never got on with the org chart in powerpoint. It's really quite easy to
draw one yourself using rounded rectangles (or any shape) and connectors (
mainly elbow connectors) I also like to group a photo wth the shape

John - if you create a textbox with text inside, and try to drag it, how do
you keep from editing the text? If you click on a shape with text inside, it
thinks you want to edit the text, no? I am working on an Excel macro and need
to solve this.
