Moving Outlook attachments

My goal is to be able to move an attachment from an email to a specified
folder while in the reading pane. Currently, I have to:
Open the email
Drag the attachment to a particular folder (and the folder selected varies)
Right mouse click on the attachment
Select "remove"
Close the email
Confirm that I want to save it now that the attachment is stripped

This is more steps than it should take. Is there a shortcut method to move
the attachment out of the email to a specified folder without opening the
email and going through all these steps?
Thanks,
Sean

I'm guessing the extremely labor intensive operations involved in opening and
getting windows into position for the drag-and-drop procedure are what is
taking up all of your time. Just right click the attachment and Save As
instead.

That copies the attachment, but doesnt move it. In other words, I want to do
a copy and then delete the attachment from the original email message. If I
dont strip out the attachment, the OST files become extraordinarily huge.
Also, there is a simpler way of doing the copy move. Just click on the
attachment on drag it over to the folder. Again, doesnt solve the problem of
removing it from the email.
