Moving offline web pages to a shared folder...

I have downloaded a website's directory for view as
offline web pages. I would like to move the web pages to a
shared folder on our office network so that they are
available to everyone in the office offline. (I do not
need to worry to much about synchronizing the offline
content).

However, when I try to copy the the offline file
(containing the downloaded web pages) from the
c:\windows\offline web pages directory, only a shortcut to
the pages is copied (however this shortcut, when deleted,
also removes the stored offline pages?!)

I know that the "offline web pages" directory is a special
windows directory so maybe there is a non-documented
method to actually move or copy the offline files to
another location.

I also noticed that the offline pages appear to be stored
in the one file. Is this purely a representaion windows
uses in the "offline web pages" directory (with the
separate web pages stored in a cache or other location) or
is it infact a special file containing all the downloaded
web pages that can only be manipulated by IE, different
from saving individual web pages as actual HTML files?

If what I require is not possible just using IEs offline
web page mechanism, can you suggest another way of
downloading a series of linked web pages for view offline
(there are too may pages to save each one individually and
besides, they would not link with each other correctly).

Thanks for your help.
