moving mail from accounts to local inbox so can apply rules

Help!
How do I move mail automatically from my remote account inbox, where I can't
apply any filtering rules, to my local inbox so that I can fiter it? I only
have one e-mail address and I just want everything in one place.

You configure Windows Mail (or some other email program) to download your
email from that account.
Windows Mail rules (filters) only work on POP3 accounts.

What do you mean by "remote account inbox"?
Are you talking about webmail service? Some of them allow
forwarding or POP access. What is the part after the @ symbol
for that remote inbox?
