Moving email to new computer

My husband downloaded my outlook from my old computer to a portable hardrive
and when he tried to download it to my new computer he got all the addys but
none of the email folders when it transferred to Microsoft. Does anyone have
any suggestions on how ...if possible...to get the lost email folders?

If it was Outlook, then you will have to install Outlook on the new computer
and import into it.

In windows mail you have to move one item at a time. First contacts then
messages and so on. I f you have Outllook 2003 or better you can use it in
Vista anything older does not work well. Good luck.
