Moving and dragging a Table

I have created a Table that I'd like to reposition on the
page but I can't get it to move when I try to drag it.
How is this done?

What version of Word do you have? If Word 2000 or above, are you working in
Normal or Print Layout view? If the latter, are you dragging the table by
the table handle (top left corner)?

I am working in Word 2002 in Print Layout and yes I have
been trying to drag the table by the Table Handle in the
top left hand corner. But the Table just wont budge.

It shouldn't be necessary, but go to Table Properties (Table tab) and set
the wrapping to Around. Then try again.

I really don't advise this, however, as wrapped tables are much more
problematic to maintain (and in earlier versions cannot extend beyond a
single page).
