I'm making a slide show and trying to get the slides to match up with the
music. The problem starts when I try to insert transitions. I want them
between each photo. When inserting the transitions it changes the overall
time of the slide show....but obviously not the music track. (as a side
note, I'm only using clips from songs...shortening/fade out/in and not the
entire song)

I've tried tools, options, etc. but that only is effective without
transitions...and with the whole song. I'm trying to make something custom
and having real difficulty getting slides/transitions to match up with music
clips.

Any suggestions?

You can use Tools/Options/Advanced to set the picture and transition
duration times BEFORE you move the pictures to the story line. I don't
remember how to change the times after you have moved the pictures into the
storyline.
