movie maker crashes

when using windows movie maker the computer just freezes and I have to shut
it down , I have been using movie maker up untill now without any probs, it
goes for about 5 mins before crashing , any IDEAS?

Sorry stilla little confused. A transition fits between two clips, such as
a fade, so clip one will fade into clip 2.
Are you saying it happens when you add movie clips to the timeline? Music to
the timeline?
If so, what are the file types? Mpeg for video adn MP3 for audio can often
not work well, so try using dv-avi and wav/wma/wmv clips.
