I have created an edited movie that is almost 15GB... my hard drive is a 30GB and I can't create enough temp file space to copy the movie over to a DVD or DV-Camera...
My questions are these:
1. Is there a way to compress the original capture file to a smaller size than the 15GB?
2. The eidted master file for the movie is only 1.5GB (about 50 mins of content) ... is there someway to delete the original capture keep the edir file and then 'compress' the original capture.
3. I've tried freeing disk space but I don't have enough resident on the C: drive... I have an external drive E: that can hold 120GB. Can I use that as a temp storage swap drive?
4. I can't even copy the original capture to my external because it's just too big to come out of my laptop...
any ideas will be greatly appreciated as this project took me 4 days of editing and I'd hate to start from scratch...
P.S. - If I do have to start over what is the largest 'safe' file to work with?
