Moveable Form

In Access 2003, when I created a new form, I could set the width of it, and
make it "moveable" on the screen.

In 2007, when I create a new form, no matter what I do, not matter the width
it appears during design, when i go to Form View, it is always 100% of the
width of the screen. Further, when I click the form property box (upper
left) and view the properties of the form, the Moveable option has a drop
down for Yes or No, but even if I choose Yes, it reverts immediately to know.

Very disconcerting as I am attempting to make smaller forms that do not take
up the full screen. I am sure this is something REALLY dumb I do not know
how to do in 2007, so looking for a poobah out there who can show me the
error of my ways.

Thanks,
Patk

How documents are displayed, in separate windows or in a tabbed view, is an
option of Access 2007, with the default set to "tabbed view". I can't
remember off the top of my head exactly where the setting is, but if you
click the Office button and choose Access Options, you should be able to
find it. I think it's in the Current Database options, but I could be
wrong.

In Office 2010 MS Access the control to do this is...
Select the File Menu Tab, top Left of main MS Access Screen
Select Options, 2nd from Bottom on Left
Select Current Database Tab in Access Options Screen
See Document Window Options...
Change from Tabbed Documents to Overlapping Windows
Close the Option Dialog
Close the Database you are designing
ReOpen the Database and continue
